HOW SALES PROCESS HELPED ME SELL MUCH MORE
As the General Manager and lead fundraiser for a significant charity, I know that my sales made simple customer engagement process is the most important tool I have when fundraising. What happens when I use the SMS process is I get a full understanding of my donor or customers needs before I try to pitch them anything.
I know this works. I do it all the time and have raised tens of thousands of dollars this year already by following the process. The first step of the process is Discovery. When I do my discovery I intentionally ask open-ended questions like “what are you intending to achieve through your giving?”. Discovery questions like this whether I am fundraising or selling help me understand the customers needs so then I can make an offer that aligns with their needs.
